I have long been fascinated by ferns and the way light and shadows can play with them and through them. Usually, I’m also looking at the way color also interacts with the light. This is my first attempt to use both film and digital images together to explore this world. Other than converting the digital images to black and white, no other editing was done to them.

This collection is dedicated to my dad — for instilling in me a love of photography, for believing in me, and for sharing his gear.
